'A Priori' - a performance by Alexander Costello

Privileged to be asked to take photos at this performance by the inimitable Alexander Costello. Part of the Royal British Society of Sculptors 'Sculpture Shock' Ambulatory prize, this performance took place at the #SculptureShock book launch.

Costello describes A priori (or It’s Not About The Thing. It’s About All Of It And Doing Things) as "an open and continuous series of performances concerned with locating and harnessing the ‘idea’ through existential pursuits and exchanges with different materials and consequential forms."

There were some amazing abstract shapes, colours and forms created as he rolled around the gallery space, enveloping himself in huge swathes of photographic backdrop paper.

Exhibition is on until 10th February 2017, at The Royal British Society of Sculptors.
