Bird Box Avenue

This weekend saw the launch of 'Bird Box Avenue' - an exhibition in the Olympic Park, Stratford, East London. The culmination of a series of workshops aimed at all ages, participants were encouraged to learn new skills and build their own bird boxes. These were then turned into works of art, using pens, paints, reclaimed materials, and the builder's imagination. 

I was commissioned to document the workshops, take studio pics for the exhibition catalogue, and finally the resulting exhibits in situ. The exhibition runs until 17th September. More info here.

This is just the second year for this intimate family friendly festival run by Sancho Panza Great vibes, great people and excellent music..

Centre17 Gala Launch Night

Great to be asked to take photos at this event - marking the opening of Walthamstow's newest theatre.. The mayor was in attendance.. plus I got a front row seat for some Edinburgh Fringe warm-up routines..and much more! Check out Centre17 here - they've got loads on!
